I went to my reputable local coin store today and purchased the three Silver American Eagles one lucky winner will receive. The coins are in perfect brilliant uncirculated condition, each protected in a plastic sleeve. These American Eagles are 2009 Silver Eagles. It was a really great experience going to the coin shop today. The place was busier than I've ever seen it in my life. I suspect this is because people are not only hedging their bets against inflation and the bad economy but also buying coins as holiday gifts. In my opinion, coins are the premier holiday gift.
