On the left is a close up picture of my Johnson Matthey one troy ounce silver bar. I absolutely
love this silver bullion bar and just had to have it as the perfect complement to my one ounce
Johnson Matthey gold bar.
Today, I'll show a few pictures of my silver bar and also discuss my buying experience and why I like
it so much.
My Experience Purchasing This Silver Bullion Bar
After I purchased my 1 troy ounce Johnson Matthey gold bar from my local coin shop, I started searching
online for its silver counterpart. I actually had quite some trouble, which was surprising. Everywhere
I looked, I was only finding the larger size Johnson Matthey bars. However, I just wanted the simple
one troy ounce one. After almost giving up, I stumbled across it at one of my favorite stores,
The Copper Cave.
The Copper Cave just started carrying silver bars in addition to their amazing portfolio of copper
bullion products. I instantly placed an order and the rest is history. Time and time again, I'm
really impressed with The Copper Cave and am a very satisfied customer. I recommend checking them out
and know I will be, not only for their copper bullion
but also their silver. A neat added benefit of buying silver bars from The Copper Cave: They come
sealed in plastic containers (as shown in the images on this page), keeping your bars in great shape.
Johnson Matthey Silver Bars Have Serial Numbers
As you can see in the image to the left, my Johnson Matthey silver bullion bar has a unique serial
number. How neat is that! I'm particularly thrilled because my bar is only one troy ounce of
silver. I have collected many silver rounds and
silver art bars, but have never before
seen a one troy ounce silver bar with a serial number. Overall, I really like this feature because
you know you have a quality investment-grade silver ingot.
Johnson Matthey's Silver Bar Is A Piece of Art
The images speak for themselves, the one troy ounce Johnson Matthey silver bar is beautiful. While
it's only one troy ounce of silver bullion, all of the careful care an attention that Johnson Matthey
places in its other bars shines through with this one. My favorite part of the bar: The reverse with
the Johnson Matthey monogram. Whether you are a seasoned silver art bar collector, a silver bug, or
even a gold bug looking to venture into silver for the first time, you owe it to yourself to buy at
least one Johnson Matthey silver bar. In addition to Johnson Matthey, I highly recommend checking out
pictures of my 1 troy ounce Engelhard Silver Bar.
In addition to Johnson Matthey, Engelhard is the other "must have" refiner of precious metals.
