To the left is a picture of my 5 ounce stainless steel bullion bar from
The Metal Mint. As you know
from my other articles (and my recent review of my
brass bullion bar
from The Metal Mint), I'm a huge fan of exotic bullion bars. While this site is all about gold (hence
the name), I have definitely swayed from that topic quite a bit to present some interesting niche
products that do not get a lot of coverage, but are really cool. This stainless steel bullion bar
is definitely one such example. I just had to pick one up because I have never seen this metal
available before in bullion bar format. I have watches with stainless steel bands, but have not even
considered stainless steel to be a "bullion" product. What a neat find!
Stainless Steel Bullion Bars Are Neat
The main reason I like stainless steel bullion is it's a rare collectible and conversation piece. You
will be the only one in town with this bar! It makes a great gift, collectible, paper weight, or
conversation starter. I personally enjoy collecting bullion bars of different metals. I currently
own several copper bullion
bars (and keep buying more) in addition to bronze and now stainless steel. I'm definitely not going
to stop here. I intend to collect more exotic bullion bars from The Metal Mint, in addition to
Jetco Minting and
E Cohen Minting. The next stop
on my shopping list will most likely be a brass bullion bar followed by an aluminum bullion bar. Beyond
the neatness factor, these bars are a nice way to diversify your portfolio a bit with something unique
and different. Moreover, they are cheap. It's nice to have some lower priced bullion bars in your collection
to complement your more expensive silver and gold pieces.
Stainless Steel Bullion and The Metal Mint
If you are a long time reader of my site, you will know by now that I've written quite a bit about
exotic bullion bars. As a result, I don't want to repeat myself too much today. If you're new to the
site and the subject, I highly recommend checking out the links above. While this does repeat what I have
stated before, I must underscore my positive experience with The Metal Mint. If you are interested in
purchasing a stainless steel bullion bar (or several), I recommend The Metal Mint. They over deliver on
quality, speed, delivery, and price. I am very fortunate to have received their very first five ounce
stainless steel bullion bar. In the image on the left, check out the serial number: 00001. Thank you
friends over at The Metal Mint. I will be ordering more bullion products from you. As a closing thought,
I just noticed on eBay that they are now selling bullion bars in bulk for large collectors. Check out
The Metal Mint's eBay store you will not be disappointed.
