Today's article is going to be short and sweet! Pictured throughout this article are images of my personal one troy ounce silver bullion art bar from Sunshine Mining. It's the middle of the winter right now, December to be precise, so how can't you like a silver bullion mint called Sunshine? They combine two of my favorite things in the world: Sunshine and silver. In all seriousness, however, today I'd like to talk about my silver art bar from Sunshine Minting. Moreover, I'd like to talk about this fascinating operation.

One Troy Ounce Silver Art Bar From Sunshine Mint

As you may know, I'm basically obsessed with silver art bars. I have been slowly but surely building out an impressive collection of silver art bars. The newest addition to my collection is the one pictured here. I'm particularly fond of this art bar because it defines the Sunshine Mint, a mint that has produced a plethora of art bars over the years. I'm now trying to buy more and more art bars that define mints because it's the mints themselves that fascinate me.

As you can see in the images in this article, the obverse of the silver bar includes a little coin at the top that says Sunshine Silver. Below, it specifies that it's .999 fine silver and that the bar was produced by Sunshine Mining (also called Sunshine Mint). The reverse of the bar is a high mirror finish and says Sunshine Bullion. While it's plain, it like it! This silver art bar, in my opinion, competes with some of the best ones from my personal silver art bar collection.

Sunshine Mint Is Fascinating

I recommend checking out the Sunshine Mint website. After poking around for just a little bit, I learned that they offer an amazing number of services ranging from safekeeping to custom minting. This stuff is near and dear to me. I'm a huge fan of storing gold in your safe deposit box and also hiding gold and silver. I'm always looking for new ways of safekeeping so I can sleep at night and not have to worry about a thing. Well, as my collection grows, perhaps I'll leverage Sunshine's safekeeping. I don't need it just yet because the vast majority (99 percent) of my gold is in my safe deposit box and I'm happy with that solution right now, although I may outgrow my safe deposit box at some point (or simply want to find another way to diversify my storage options).

Moreover, I have been considering a custom Gold Why coin for quite some time. While I'm not there yet, when the time does come, perhaps it will be Sunshine Mint that produces my coin! If the art bar is any indication of what they're capable of, I know my coin would be amazing. So there you have it, a new art bar from an established gold and silver mint. I know I'll be purchasing more bullion from Sunshine Mining over the years.
