I'm thrilled today to share with you Gold Why's 9th gold video! I can't believe it, my videos have
now surpassed 10,000 views on YouTube thanks to all of you. I sincerely appreciate your support. I'm
on a roll once again and have three new videos shot and ready for upload. Today's video features, in full HD
quality, my beautiful Gold American Eagle. I'm talking
about my very special 2005 Gold Eagle. This
coin is just so amazing. It's one troy ounce of 22 karat gold bullion. With the price of gold
at $1,663 it's amazing to be holding so much money in my hand at one time (with just one coin). Without further
ado, I invite you to watch my video. If you have a moment, I'd also sincerely appreciate it if you subscribed
to my Gold Why YouTube Channel.
One Troy Ounce Gold American Eagle - The Must-Have Coin
I'm particularly excited about this video today because I believe the one troy ounce Gold American Eagle
is a must-have coin. I'm a big fan of all different sizes of gold coins including one ounce coins and also
fractional gold coins. Also, I'm a huge fan of all
different kinds of coins including
Krugerrands,
Gold Maple Leafs,
Gold Pandas,
Gold Cat Coins, and so many more! However,
at the end of the day, I must say that the one troy ounce 22 karat Gold American Eagle is a must-have gold coin. You
will quickly see why when you watch today's video. A few reasons why I think everyone should own this coin. First,
it's 22 karat, meaning it's scratch resistant - I really love that fact because I enjoy holding my gold coins. Second,
it's backed by the United States government. Third, it's one of the most widely collected and liquid coins around. Fourth,
it's an amazingly beautiful coin. It's hard for me to play favorites. However, if I had to own just one gold bullion coin,
this one would certainly be a strong contender.
Gold Versus Silver - My Gold Eagle and My Silver Eagle
In addition to sharing my 2005 Gold Eagle in today's video, I also share my 2008
Silver American Eagle. I wrote a neat
article on Gold Why about gold versus silver. If a picture
is worth 1,000 words, a video is worth 10,000 words. In today's video you can see my two coins right on top of each other.
I find it a really interesting comparison, especially in terms of size. While both coins are one troy ounce, the silver
coin is clearly larger. Why? Gold is more dense than silver. (You may want to check out my recent
Gold Why Q&A about
gold and silver density.)
So, there you have it! Thanks so much for watching today's Gold Why video. Stay tuned, I have several more exciting videos
on the way very soon.
