I have recently covered several of my favorite places to buy gold, silver, and copper bullion coins including
E Cohen Mint (Gold, Silver, and Copper),
Jetco Mint (Copper and Other Metals),
and Blanchard and Company (Gold, Silver, and Platinum).
As an overall strategy, I feel strongly about only supporting precious metals dealers that I believe in. It's
important to
buy gold from reputable stores
and my goal is to point you in the right direction. Why? I'm a small gold and silver bug and have
spent a lot of time researching precious metals stores. I want to pass my findings along to you. Us gold and silver bugs
need to stick together!
Additionally, I am an affiliate of some of the gold stores covered on this site, meaning I get a small commission
for customers I refer. I am a personal customer of all stores I endorse on this site and I stand by them.
Consequently, I would love to hear about your personal experience, please don't hesitate to
drop me a line.
By providing free quality information and reviews, I am able to earn income from this site to keep the lights
running (hosting fees) and continue to write and publish quality and free information for gold investors everywhere.
I am very excited about the topic of today's article, let's review GovMint.com, a really great online coin store.

GovMint.com Is A Lot of Fun To Browse Through
The first thing I noticed about
GovMint.com
is it's an absolute blast perusing through their deep catalog of products.
In contrast with a website like Blanchard and Company,
GovMint has a much broader selection. Don't get me wrong, I love Blanchard, but I also really like GovMint because of
their huge catalog. On their website, GovMint offers a huge array of really interesting coins. You will find yourself
spending hours there looking around and finding really neat coins. I was personally up late last night and ended up
buying a really neat 2008 1 ounce silver Australian Koala coin, how neat. In terms of scope, GovMint offers coins
ranging from the strange (the first even pyramid shaped coin) to the standard
(Gold American Eagles). Are you a
copper bullion investor like myself? GovMint offers bags of
wheat pennies. How much fun! Another really neat coin that I found is the 2008 China Mint 1/10 ounce koala gold coin.
I'm thinking of picking one up. This is a gold site you will end up spending hours on!
GovMint Is A Reputable Store
Based on their about us page, Gov Mint has been in business for over 20 years. It's important to choose a reputable
store when buying coins for several reasons. The largest reason that stands out in my mind is authenticity. You
want the peace of mind in knowing that your coins are authentic. Want to sell your coins? Retain your receipts so you
can prove to the buyer that your gold coins are real. Also of interest on GovMint's about us page is that they have
a 30 day no questions asked return policy. Again, this is great for added peace of mind.
GovMint takes pride in its customer service. You can give them a call at (800) 721-0346 and your representative
can assist you in your purchase.
Diversify Your Gold and Silver Bullion Portfolio
It's important to diversify within
your gold and silver coin portfolio. You don't want to just buy the same coins and sizes over and over again. Not
only is that boring but there are also other disadvantages (you may wish to check out the article just linked to!). The
beauty of GovMint is that it allows you to diversify like crazy. They provide an easy way to buy a lot of unique
and different coins, coins that you would not easily find elsewhere. I have not personally seen a silver Australian Koala
before (either at the standard websites I check or my local coin shop) and I am thrilled about finding it on GovMint.
My Personal Silver Purchase On GovMint - An Excellent Experience
As mentioned, I just made a purchase on GovMint. I am a small time gold and silver collector right now and don't have
a huge amount of funds for large purchases. Consequently, GovMint is a great place for me because I can pick up some
really unique and valuable coins that fit my budget. For my first purchase on GovMint, I specifically bought an
absolutely beautiful 2008 Australian silver koala coin. I must start out and say I am extremely happy with my
purchase. I know, I have a lot of positive reviews on this site. I have had a lot of great experiences buying
coins online and only recommend stores to you that I personally believe in and use. I must say that GovMint
is at the top of an already exclusive group.
Typically, I have come to expect a "wait time" of around one month when ordering gold and silver bullion
coins. Why? You're getting a valuable asset in the mail. The seller needs time to ensure that everything looks good
and the payment clears ok. GovMint is different than the rest, at least with my very small order (and this may be
the differentiating factor, it's one of my smallest orders ever). My Australian silver koala arrived in the mail in
only one week! The quickness of the order was unexpected and a nice surprise because I got it on Friday after
a really stressful week (aren't they all!). What a nice little present.
The packing and shipping of GovMint is word class. The packaging exceeded my expectations by far and I choose the
cheapest shipping option available. My silver coin arrived in a non-marked brown envelop padded with
a bubble wrap lining. Within the sealed envelope (which was also secured with tape) were two catalogs, one for
GovMint and the other for jewelry. I must say the GovMint catalog is neat and interesting and gave me a variety
of items for my next purchase (my wish list keeps getting longer). Folded between the two catalogs was my highly
protected coin. The coin is protected by a hard plastic case that fits it perfectly (what a neat case to keep the
coin in great condition). Around the plastic case is a velvet bag and then a taped shut plastic bag. Overall,
some really great packing. Also a nice touch, the plastic bag has a little certificate of authenticity card. The last
thing that came in the package is the receipt and return information of course (if you are not satisfied with your
purchase, GovMint has a very good return policy of 30 days no questions asked). I most definitely do not
want to return my coin, it is really cool. To conclude, I highly recommend
GovMint.com .
I personally had an excellent experience with them and will keep ordering again. The next two items I really want
to pick up are a 2007 Australian silver koala and a 2008 China silver panda. GovMint provides a great way to
diversify within my gold and silver portfolio.
